Senior Interior Project Manager

Complex projects. Real ownership. A team that can execute.

If you're the person on a project who makes sure everything actually happens — client trust, budget discipline, team performance, on-time delivery — this role was built for you.

Perkins&Will's San Francisco studio is expanding its workplace interiors practice globally. We're a focused, 90+-person studio inside a 2,800-person award-winning global firm, which means you get real project ownership and client relationships without disappearing into a bureaucracy. The leaders who thrive here want visibility, accountability, and work they can be proud of.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full project lifecycle: scope, fee, budget, schedule, client communication, and team performance
  • Serve as primary client liaison — you build the relationship, you protect it
  • Manage projects in Deltek, including work plans, budgets, change notices, and schedules
  • Coordinate with the Operations Director and Interiors team on staffing; lead and mentor your project teams
  • Identify and manage risk — client issues, technical issues — before they become problems
  • Participate in marketing, business development, and client relationship cultivation
  • Review deliverables for accuracy, code compliance, and consistency with the Project Delivery Manual

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 10–15+ years of workplace interiors experience through all project phases
  • Proven track record managing project financials, contracts, and client relationships
  • Revit proficient; comfortable with standard PM software
  • Strong communicator — written, verbal, and in front of clients
  • LEED GA required (or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire)
  • NCIDQ or registered architect preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in interiors, architecture, or related field

Nice to Have (not dealbreakers)

  • Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape, or environmental analysis tools
  • Living Design credentials: WELL AP, LEED AP with Specialty, BREEAM AP, Passive House, or ILFI Accreditation

What You'll Get

Salary range: $141,100–$207,300, commensurate with skills, education and experience.

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off
  • Professional development stipend and dedicated continuing education time
  • Performance-based bonuses
  • Access to firmwide leadership development programs and affinity groups

We're committed to pay equity — we audit it annually, train managers on pay practices every year, and mean it.

Our culture is grounded in a firmwide commitment to Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI). We believe inclusion drives creativity and that innovation is born from diverse teams. That commitment shapes how we hire, promote, and build.
