Your Role
As a Designer at CJ+C, you will contribute to the creation and realization of thoughtful, high-quality architecture. Depending on your experience level, you may assist with or lead elements of the design and documentation process from conceptual design through construction. You bring curiosity, technical skill, and design sensibility to every project, helping our teams deliver innovative and meaningful results.

What You Will Do
- Participate in all project phases, including conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
- Collaborate with project teams on design concepts, presentations, coordination, and production.
- Contribute to creative problem-solving, addressing complex design challenges with innovative and practical solutions.
- Work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, and regulatory agencies to achieve project goals.
- Prepare graphic presentations, renderings, and construction drawings using a range of digital and hand-drawing tools.
- Assist with or lead project coordination and communication across teams and disciplines.
- Support client engagement, proposal development, and project presentations.
- Mentor junior team members or, if early in your career, learn from senior designers and technical leaders.
- Participate in office initiatives, professional development, and a culture of design curiosity and collaboration.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelors or master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
- 1-10 years of relevant architecture and design experience.
- Actively pursuing architectural licensure or licensed; LEED accreditation a plus.
- Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, and/or other 3D modeling tools such as Rhino.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) for design communication and presentations.
- Strong ability to communicate and present design concepts and their rationales.
- Familiarity with building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainable design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with clients, consultants, and colleagues.
- Passion for design innovation, professional growth, and contributing to a culture of creativity.
