Physical Operational Security Administrator

Under the direction of the Physical Operational Security (OPSEC) Manager, the Physical OPSEC Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of OPSEC processes, administrative tasks, and operational support of the company's physical security measures across all locations, including corporate offices and remote job sites ensuring a secure environment for all personnel and assets as dictated by Clayco's policies, Cybersecurity Strategy, and Safety Guidelines. The Physical OPSEC Administrator will act as a key contact for employees and stakeholders regarding access control, visitor management, and physical security System and component maintenance.

The Specifics of the Role:

  • Assume day-to-day operational responsibilities for the provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning of physical access for all personnel, in coordination with the Identity & Access Management team
  • Manage requests for access badges, fobs, and access area changes, working closely with the Facilities, Reception, and Recruiting teams
  • Coordinate the inventory and acquisition of physical access components such as badges, fobs, card readers cameras, etc.
  • Process and respond to reports of malfunctioning readers, sensors, turnstiles, gates, doors, or other access control components to coordinate resolution with Service Delivery team and Integration Partners
  • Support the Visitor Management Process for Clayco office locations, which includes supporting the successful delivery of visitor invites, initial access guidance, and badging upon arrival as well as troubleshooting issues
  • Conduct routine testing of emergency protocols and alert buttons as part of the process lifecycle management
  • Contribute to and maintain detailed documentation of physical OPSEC component standards, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Fulfill requests for physical access event logs and assist with the review and collection of video surveillance footage for internal stakeholders or law enforcement as required, with proper approvals
  • Support the creation of reports to communicate the security posture of facilities to leadership on a regular basis
  • Work with the Project Management and Field Operations teams to ensure that standardized physical OPSEC plans are implemented for remote jobsites.
  • Coordinate with Integrations Partners and IT Field Technicians to ensure successful deployment of physical OPSEC measures at each mobilized jobsite as recommended in that sites security plan.
  • Lead testing and validation for all new component deployment and changes to existing which may involve travel to remote sites

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Criminology, Security Studies, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • At least three (3) years of work experience in physical security operations, with a focus on access control and video surveillance system deployment and administration
  • Experience with and functional knowledge of De-escalation Tactics & Techniques is preferred.
  • Familiarity with physical OPSEC principles, including personnel safety, securing facility perimeters, and access provisioning processes.
  • Experience with a visitor management system is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Due to national footprint of facilities and field locations, approximately 50% travel is required
