Gensler Project Architect

As a Gensler Project Architect you will collaborate with our Practice Area Leaders and Design Directors to develop design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction documentation phase of a project. You will be successful because you already know how to translate an architect's sketches and documents into realized 2D/3D models and images and can research artistic and/or technical issues when they arise. Manage client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, civil consultants etc.

Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials

Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges

Maintain project manual and specifications

Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI's during construction

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture

8+ years of experience in a commercial design firm

Licensed or registered architect

Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, 3dMax, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and MS Office.

Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures

LEED accreditation preferred

**The base salary range will be estimated between $95,000 - $120,000. Gensler's total compensation package is multi-layered and includes a base salary, two annual bonuses paid in December and June, an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), and profit sharing.
