Student Internship - Brand Design & Strategy - Summer 2026 - Tokyo

Gensler Tokyo Office Internship

As an intern of Gensler's Tokyo office, you will join our creative environment for a full time paid internship for 2-6 months, depending on university schedules.

What You Will Do

You will have an exciting opportunity to work on projects as a fully collaborative member of brand design and strategy team, participating in design charrettes and learning sessions focused on delivering a successful project for our clients, large or small.

In addition to hands-on learning, you will experience educational sessions and mentorship opportunities that include lectures, project tours and a group project.

You will also enjoy the rich culture of our firm and the broader office community through a number of events and learning opportunities.

Your Qualifications

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design with understanding of environmental graphic and brand design
• Native or fluent in English, Japanese language proficiency is a plus
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) software
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of reading architectural plans, sections, elevations is a plus
• Experience with Sketchup, Premiere, Keynote is a plus
