Handel Architects is an award-winning architecture firm with offices in New York, Boston, San Francisco, and Hong Kong. Our work includes architecture, urban design and interior design and aims to leverage individual opportunities to create something greater: positive urban and social change. We are a fast-paced and results-driven firm and are always looking for people that share our passion.
Our New York office is seeking smart, curious, and energetic summer interns who are eager to grow both technically and creatively. You'll support design teams on projects across various phases. This is a great opportunity for a motivated designer looking to gain professional experience in a supportive, collaborative setting.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in B.Arch or M.Arch program
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively on a team
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated
- Experience with graphic presentation tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience with 3D modeling and rendering tools (Rhino, SketchUp, V-Ray, Grasshopper)
- Experience with Revit
Compensation: $24-$28 per hour commensurate with experience
