Responsibilities:
Modify or create implementation documents, applying standard landscape architectural techniques and procedures according to written and verbal specifications with general supervision
Collaborate on design and technical resolution and coordination for a defined portion of a project
Assist in preparing client presentations and present project design intent
Perform product research; assist project designers with material selection and system research
Support research of code and zoning requirements
Attend on-site visits, field reviews, and client and/or project meetings and document these visits as appropriate
Assist in preparing schedules and review implementation documents and samples as needed
Communicate with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to incorporate information into design, project requirements, and documents as needed
Provide guidance and direction to entry-level staff as appropriate
Participate in team meetings to discuss project issues, design and technical issues, and coordination with other disciplines
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Landscape Architecture, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a Design Intern, Landscape Designer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 2 years with the following:
Landscape Design
Adobe suite such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Powerpoint
3D Modeling / Rendering Software such as Lumion and Enscape
Creating Architectural Drawings such as Plans, Site Plans, Elevations, Sections, and Axonometrics
Drafting / Modeling in documentation software such as AutoCAD and Revit
Utilizing Sketchup and Rhino
Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
