  • Support green workplace and sustainability initiatives through responsible digital practices.

Design Technology Specialists support discipline-specific workflows by developing standardized Revit assets, improving model-based design processes, and performing advanced modeling or analysis. This may include architectural performance studies (massing, enclosures, egress, sustainability), MEP or structural systems modeling, energy or daylight analysis, CFD, fabrication-ready modeling, or interoperability with engineering analysis tools.

  • Communicates clearly and collaborates easily with architects, engineers, and project managers.
  • Enjoys mentoring others and takes pride in helping project teams grow and succeed.
  • Is proactive, adaptable, and energized by the challenge of improving digital design processes.
  • Brings both precision and creativity to digital design challenges.

What kind of education and experience are required?

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in BIM, 3D modeling, computational design, or related digital practice roles.

We'd also like someone who has experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Dynamo, Grasshopper), and experience with visualization, simulation, or analysis platforms (AR/VR, CFD, energy modeling, daylighting tools, etc).

LEED Green Associate or LEED AP accreditation is preferred.

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, education, and location. The typical salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000.
