Project Interior Designer

As a Project Interior Designer, You Will…
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for large, complex, or multiple interior design projects.
- Lead BIM/Revit design development and construction documentation, ensuring alignment between design intent and technical execution.
- Collaborate closely with project leaders and design teams to translate concepts into clear, coordinated, and buildable solutions.
- Oversee consultant coordination, document production, and QA/QC processes.
- Manage client goals, budgets, schedules, and technical scope in partnership with the Principal in Charge.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, agency requirements, and firm technical standards.
- Mentor and delegate to Interior Designers, coaching staff in documentation, organization, and professional growth.
- Utilize advanced tools and technology to elevate design quality and project delivery.
- Contribute to proposal content and support marketing efforts with work that reflects design excellence.
The Must-Haves (Required)
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design (or equivalent) with 6+ years of interior or architectural project experience, or an Associate's degree with 10+ years of related experience.
- Strong experience managing the technical aspects of multiple projects.
- Proficiency in BIM/Revit and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Bluebeam.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
The Like-to-Haves (Preferred)
- LEED accreditation.
- Experience with Healthcare, Education, or Civic projects.
- Experience with Newforma, eBuilder, or similar project management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
Salary Range: $77,300 - $106,800 annually. Compensation and level DOE.
