The Assistant Prep Lead will be the liaison between product needs from the line to the production team. The primary responsibility of this role is ensuring the team is working in priority sequence and collaboration with the line cooks.

Your Responsibilities

• Live Our Vision, Values and Beliefs every day
• Monitor production daily, including: validating adherence to recipe production, ensuring the team is preparing food in small batches and aligning with production lists
• Write daily production lists and communicating with Chefs to align on sales mix while communicating any adjustments, urgent items, or any product needed to order
• Maintain standards of cleanliness, organization of all storage areas, walk-in coolers and prep kitchen
• Be knowledgeable of all prep recipes and techniques
• Lead inventory management, including: on hand pars, understanding of product ordering and associated timeliness
• Proactively find ways to maintain cleanliness and efficiency
• Actively contribute ideas, take ownership of and go beyond responsibilities to ensure the success of the team

Our Requirements

• 1+ years of related experience
• Energetic, accountable, responsible and team oriented
• Willingness to contribute ideas, take ownership of and go beyond their responsibilities to ensure the success of the team
• Ability to read and understand order guides and invoices with reasonable food knowledge and product identification
• Basic knife skills and general cooking knowledge
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work standing and walking for extended periods of time
