The Senior Designer will lead the interior design business within RH Galleries.

RH is seeking a Senior Designer who displays strong leadership qualities coupled with extensive interior design experience. RH Senior Designers are innovators with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for building a thriving design business within their Gallery. The Senior Designer will respond appropriately to complex priorities to ensure successful leadership of multiple design projects. They are expected to deliver first-class service to our teams and our clients, creating a luxury experience.

Your Responsibilities

• Represent the RH brand through polished communication, personal appearance and professionalism through the lens of refined taste with a discerning eye for luxury
• Master, execute and teach the RH design point of view for residential interior design
• Build, lead, educate and inspire an effective and successful team of designers and associates
• Attract the right talent at all levels for our ever-changing business in an effort to build successful teams
• Work in direct partnership with Gallery Leadership to develop strategies for the growth of the Design business
• Successfully oversee all phases of the client experience from initial contact through delivery
• Oversee all large-scale and VIP design projects
• Ensure fiscal goals are achieved through design projects and Gallery design consulting

Our Requirements

• 7+ years Interior Design and team leadership experience in the high-end luxury furniture industry
• Art, Architecture or Interior Design degree preferred
• Professional portfolio required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and other related space planning and rendering programs preferred
• Member of design organization and/or strong commitment to continued artistic education and certification
• Strong artistic skills, including hand rendering and sketching capabilities preferred
• Proven success developing and overseeing concurrent projects
• Hands-on interior installation experience required
• Current with local and global design industry trends
• Licensed to drive preferred
• Ability to travel locally or out of state

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move small to medium items, up to 25 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
• Ability to maneuver effectively around Gallery floor, stock room and office
• Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
