Cad Designer (Architectural Staff)

As a CAD Designer (Architectural Staff), you will support the design team by producing visual materials, coordinating consultant input, and assisting in the development of clear and complete architectural and interior construction documents.

Essential Functions:

• Help with creation of renderings, animations and other schematic drawings to help communicate with the client the vision of the project.
• Assist with coordination of consultant information into Architectural drawings.
• Coordinate with Project Principal, Project Manager, Project Architect and Design Lead to produce a complete set of Architectural Construction Documents. (SID).
• Clarity and completeness of the interior design section of the drawings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture required
• 2+ years of experience in architectural drafting/design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with building codes, construction methods, and architectural standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software (SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, etc.).
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The salary this website provides for this position may or may not be aligned with the salary that WRA Architects pays for this position. The salary WRA will offer will commensurate with experience.
